My dreams are often incredibly vivid, frequently consisting of surreal reinterpretations of dramatic points in my life and predictions of what may yet come. Locations visited within tend to be familiar yet at the same time strange, the sights simultaneously beautiful and grotesque, and the people both mirror images and complete opposites of their real-world counterparts. This piece captures these kinds of paradoxes along with the waves of emotion I feel as I witness the many tumultuous scenes unfold before my mind’s eye.
