The revised compositions will be formally presented at Preview Concerts at the Tsang Shiu Tim Art Hall on the campus of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and World Premiere Concerts at the Hong Kong City Hall Theatre.

Artistic Director and internationally-renowned composer, conductor, and pianist, Bright Sheng, will be joined by Distinguished Guest Artist/Composer and 2002 MacArthur "Genius" Award-winning double-bassist, Edgar Meyer; Distinguished Guest Artist and Gramophone's Record of the Year-winning violinist, Cho-Liang Lin, Artistic Director of the Hong Kong International Chamber Music Festival; along with other Distinguished Guests and Guest Artists.

Up to six emerging composers between the ages of 25 and 35 will be selected to participate. One or two participating composers may be offered a one-year renewable position at HKUST as Composer-in-Residence/Visiting Scholar in the Division of Humanities.
